Conway Regional Medical Center welcomed its first baby of the year, Brecken Smith. Born to Josiah and Baylee Smith parents, Brecken entered the world at 8:26 am on the very first day of 2024.

Brecken weighed 7 pounds 5 ounces and measured 19 and a half inches. She is the second child of the Smith family. She was delivered by Andrew Cole, MD, a physician at Conway OB-GYN located in the Conway Regional Medical Office Building.

The new mother, Baylee Smith, shared, "This was the best way to start the new year."

Continuing a cherished tradition, Conway Regional celebrated this special occasion by gifting the Smith family a curated gift basket from the Conway Regional Gift Shop. This celebration symbolizes Conway Regional’s commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare to the community for more than 100 years. This dedication is shown by being named Best Place to Have a Baby for four consecutive years by the readers of AY Magazine.
